This unit was built for a client based on his specifications. It is over 60 inches long and was built in 3 sections consisting of 2 base units and the upper shelf.
The doors were purchased from a custom cabinet company and the drawer fronts actually open downward to reveal space for the client’s components. A challenge for this project was the sheer size and building it into an existing space. I took measurements and built everything off-site and if the components had been another quarter inch wider they would not have fit! The fit was so close that I had to remove the casing from the neighboring window to get the upper unit in. The face frames were built in place after installation.
